day 135 - playing a round

Originally just kids' bouncing balls, the Matsumoto temari are now an intricately woven and embroidered art-form.

Speaking of circles... as you are finding wonderful things going round in nature, I was led by my alter-ego to U-tube to look at a 1926 film by Duchamp, Anemic Cinema. It's a film of rotating discs alternating with words written in circles. Makes me think of your circle series; interesting; the words also turning round and fading in and out with the images.
I like how each of the circles you find is/has a world within itself.

Thanks, joanne. I think if you look hard enough everything is a world within itself.

I just looked at the Duchamp video. I'm amazed I've never seen it before. It reminded me of something I've seen recently by Jean-Pierre Hébert. Have a look!
