day 67 - erection curves

The curvilinear structure of the Himeji International Exchange Centre ( "The Egret") reflects the classic "folded fan" curve of Himeji Castle's walls and moats, which it faces. This rather cool building contains shops, restaurants, a modern library - and our weekly Japanese lessons.

I like your series of curves and angles. It's an interesting way to look at a place. I found your blog thru my sister, DontCallitPoetry.
I also live in Japan and write poems and take photos, so I appreciated seeing your site. I like the simple format you use with strong visual images, and short sentences that help to situate them. Has a nice poetry...!
If you don't mind, I'd like to add it to my "places to visit" at my blog (Aikawarazu Life in Japan)...
Nice to "meet you",

Hajime mashite, Joanne. I just checked out your site. You have a really interesting mix of poetry and images on Aikawarazu. The name's cool, too. "The usual." I reckon the name I picked for mine was apt. Wakarimasen has been my most-used expression so far!
